Na h-eòin

The birds

The definite article used with plural nouns is the same as the feminine genitive article: na. As we saw with the feminine genitive, when this is used with a vowel, we use na h-. The gender of plural nouns does not matter, both masculine and feminine are treated the same in their plural forms:
