The pain is going through me
Tha an cràdh a' dol tromham
When talking about cràdh (ache, pain) we can use the verb rach (go) and the preposition tro (through) to describe agonising pain a' dol tromhainn (going through us). As with all simple prepositions, we combine tro with the pronouns to create prepositional pronouns to say 'through me', 'through us', 'through it', etc. The prepositional pronouns of tro are given in the table below. We can use tro directly with an indefinite noun , which lenites, and tron with a definite noun:
