Bha pailteas anns a’ phrògram seo a chuidicheas slàinte agus sunnd ar cuid Gàidhlig, nach robh? Seo beagan de na dh’ionnsaich sinn.

To ask someone what’s wrong with them, it’s:

Dè tha ceàrr ort? Dè tha ceàrr ort?

If you’re fortunate enough to have nothing wrong, you could answer by saying:

Chan eil sìon ceàrr orm, chan eil sìon ceàrr orm

If you want to say that you have toothache it’s:

Tha an dèideadh orm, tha an dèideadh orm.

And if you’re injured or hurt, you say:

Tha mi / air mo ghoirteachadh, tha mi air mo ghoirteachadh.

The Gaelic for mental health is slàinte–inntinn, slàinte–inntinn; and bodily or physical health is slàinte–bodhaige, slàinte–bodhaige;

And finally, to say something is getting better, we can use: Tha piseach a’ tighinn air, tha piseach a’ tighinn air.
