In B1 we saw several ways to say things in the passive voice.
We learned different idiomatic ways to do this, using rach, ga, and ri:
Chaidh leabhraichean a leughadh.
Books got read.
Bha leabhraichean gan leughadh.
Books were being read.
Bha leabhraichean rin leughadh.
There were books to be read.
We also saw in B1 that we can use special forms of the verb [verbs] to do this.
We learned na tràthan fulangach (the passive tenses) with bi: bhathar, thathar and bithear in B1 Cuspair 10 and 11.
We saw an tràth caithte fulangach (the past tense passive) with faic and cluinn in Cuspair 11: chunnacas and chualas.
Look back at these lessons if you have to.
