'S ann à Alba a tha mi

I'm from Scotland [It's from Scotland that I am]

In SpeakGaelic A2 Cuspair 2, we learned to use ‘S ann à | Chan ann à to say where we are from. Remember that ‘S ann adds emphasis to the word that follows it. 

Tha mi à Alba.→’S ann à Alba a tha mi.

I am from Scotland.→It is from Scotland that I am.

As we saw in B1 Cuspair 2, we use ‘S ann with a preposition, as we have seen before with à (from). We often use ‘S ann with other prepositions, such as: ann anle and do/a.
